Minimum age requirements

The minimum age to use Fluxer by country, how age is determined, and what happens if an account is suspected of being underage.

Last updated March 4, 2026

You must meet the minimum age requirement for your country to create and use a Fluxer account. In most countries, this is 13, but some jurisdictions set a higher minimum.

Minimum age by country

The following countries have a minimum age higher than the default of 13:

Minimum age Countries
14 Austria, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Cyprus, Italy, Lithuania, Peru, South Korea, Spain, Venezuela
15 Czech Republic, France, Greece, Serbia, Vietnam
16 Aruba, Bonaire/Sint Eustatius/Saba, Croatia, Curaçao, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, San Marino, Sint Maarten, Slovakia, Slovenia

All other countries have a minimum age of 13.

Age-restricted content

Regardless of the minimum age to use Fluxer in your country, you must be 18 or older to access age-restricted content. This includes:

  • NSFW channels within communities
  • communities marked as age-restricted
  • media flagged as containing explicit content by our automated detection system

Your baseline eligibility is determined by the date of birth you provide when you register. In some regions, access to age-restricted content may also require an additional regional adult verification step. For current region-specific requirements and methods, see our Regional restrictions page.

How your age is determined

When you create an account, you provide your date of birth. We use IP geolocation to determine your approximate country and apply the corresponding minimum age requirement. If your date of birth doesn't meet the minimum age for your detected country, registration isn't permitted.

For details on how we use IP geolocation, see Section 3.2 of our privacy policy.

Reporting underage users

If you believe an account belongs to someone under the minimum age, you can report it. Our team reviews these reports, and if we have reason to believe the account holder doesn't meet the minimum age requirement, the account may be suspended.

Appealing a suspension

If your account is suspended because it's suspected of belonging to someone under the minimum age:

  1. You may appeal by contacting appeals@fluxer.app from the email address associated with your account.
  2. As part of the appeal, you may be asked to submit a government-issued identification document to verify your age. This is the only circumstance in which Fluxer requests identification documents.
  3. Any identification documents you submit are used solely to verify your age and are deleted within 60 days after the appeal closes, regardless of the outcome.

Accounts that do not meet the minimum age

If Fluxer becomes aware that an account belongs to someone who doesn't meet the minimum age requirement in their country, we'll take steps to delete the account and associated personal data. If you're a parent or legal guardian and believe your child has created an account without your consent or doesn't meet the minimum age, please contact privacy@fluxer.app from the child's registered email address (or with sufficient proof of guardianship).

For more information about how we handle children's data, see Section 11 of our privacy policy.
